Starlight Christmas

 

Remember the classic holiday TV shows of your childhood, when entertainers like Bing Crosby, Dean Martin and others sang songs and spread the holiday cheer far and wide and you couldn’t help but feel the warmth and glow of the season? A Starlight Christmas featuring Tony Starlight brings back these uplifting holiday traditions and puts a fresh, comedic spin on them.

Tony and crew perform a Variety Christmas program complete with swinging holiday standards, impressions of iconic performers and comedy routines. Hear the music of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Louis Armstrong, Bing Crosby, Neil Diamond, Rosemary Clooney and more.

Tony features guest vocalist Barbara Ayars and is backed by an eight piece band led by The Maestro Bo Ayars.

The concert is from 7:30pm – 8:45pm, in the Chapel

 

Tony Starlight
Tony Starlight is an entertainer and entrepreneur. He is a musician, comedian, producer and venue owner. He specializes in song parodies, impressions of pop icons and tributes to pop culture phenomena. He is the owner and operator of The Tony Starlight Showroom where he writes and performs music and comedy. Tony impersonates everyone from Dean Martin to Axl Rose, Frank Sinatra to Tom Jones, Bob Seger and Elton John to Cat Stevens, but his specialty is Neil Diamond. Tony’s show lampoons pop culture with tributes to “Schoolhouse Rock” and “Solid Gold.”

Bo Ayars
Bo Ayars spent 12 years as the arranger and conductor for Liberace’s orchestra. He has also conducted the orchestra for The Radio City Music Hall Christmas Show and worked with such icons as Bob Hope, Elvis Presley, Barbra Streisand and Jim Nabors. He recently published mis musical memoirs, “1 Baton, No. 2 Pencil, 88 Keys, & Liberace” which is available on Amazon.com.

 

Barbara Ayars
Barbara Ayars is a vocal and performance coach and a veteran of several Las Vegas shows singing backups for such legends as Bobby Vinton, Steve & Eydie and Diahanne Carrol. This year marks
her 12 season performing along side Tony (and her husband, Bo Ayars) in “It’s a Tony Starlight Christmas.”
