You’ll soothe those aching joints and have fun while you make new friends.

If you are a fan of smaller fitness environments, you will want to check out the Kellogg Fitness Center. It has just the right equipment and space to get in a great workout, and just steps from nature and a view of the woods.

Of course, your form of exercise might be walking. Mary’s Woods is known for its walking trails among gardens, around our campus, and down to the Willamette River.

Achieving balance

Wellness comprises much more than physical health, nutrition and exercise. It’s a thorough integration of physical, mental and spiritual well-being. Living well, with complete balance, requires we attend to all aspects.

At Mary’s Woods, we use 10 Dimensions of Celebrating Life at Mary’s Woods to assist residents in identifying strengths and areas of opportunity to help them craft the balanced life they want to be living. They become aware of the interconnectedness of each dimension and how these dimensions contribute to healthy living.

Our Community Life team uses 10 Dimensions of Celebrating Life at Mary’s Woods to ensure community events cover the entire spectrum of wellness, providing residents with opportunities to engage with each of the 10 dimensions.
