“Going for baroque.” Bad pun, but great music. The vivid rhythms, wonderful harmonies and touching pathos of baroque music is so widely admired — who couldn’t be thrilled when Sine Nomine, the intimate, special baroque ensemble featuring local virtuosi playing genuine 18th-century instruments, brings a program of their favorite works to us.
