Houses for Birds, Not Dinosaurs

Mary’s Woods installs birdhouses in woods around campus

Residents are encouraged to take a walk around Kellogg to view the colorful birdhouses made and installed by Man Cave member, Brad Bradshaw, and artfully painted by Mary’s Woods volunteers. Brad installed the tiny houses just in time for the spring demand for housing by our resident birds.

Did you know that birds are the evolutionary descendants of the dinosaurs?

“Thank God for evolution,” said Man Cave member Bill Warner. “Brad would have been really challenged to build a house big enough for a Tyrannosaurus Rex, much less to hang it from a tree.”
