Our Foundation
Mary’s Woods was founded by the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, whose vision shaped a community centered on dignity, compassion, and care for the whole person. That foundation created a culture that is welcoming, genuine, and deeply human. Here, natural beauty, meaningful relationships, and a shared sense of spirituality support the ongoing journey of life. Mary’s Woods welcomes people of all backgrounds and beliefs and carries the Sisters’ legacy forward through connection, belonging, and care for one another.
