A senior executive with proven success leading complex healthcare systems, Martie Moore is a published author, viral influencer, and global speaker on leadership, patient safety, and healthcare performance. Martie most recently served as President and CEO of a healthcare consulting group providing expertise in strategic execution, market positioning and analysis, delivery model changes, and business transformation. She has advised federal agencies, acute care entities, private equity/venture capitalists, healthcare technology groups, and a national senior living company that operates extensively throughout the Portland Metro area.
Career highlights prior to her consulting work include: Chief Nursing Officer at both Medline Industries in Northfield, IL and Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR; Senior Vice President, Patient Services – Maine General Health in Augusta/Waterville ME; and Vice President, Patient Care Services and Corporate Compliance Officer – Saint Peter’s Hospital in Helena, MT.
Martie holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science of Nursing from Saint Martin’s University. Certifications and professional memberships include: Certified Professional Healthcare Quality (CPHQ); Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing; American Organization of Nurse Executives; and the National Association for Healthcare Quality.
Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her leadership, innovation, and compassion. The nurses of Providence nominated her for their Daisy Award; the American Nurses Association recognized her with the Award for a Lifetime of Leadership and Dedication to Patient Care and the Nursing Profession; her university commended her with an Honorary Doctorate and Distinguished Alumni Award; and most recently, Brookdale Senior Living recognized her with their Leadership Excellence, Service Heart Award.
