Lynda Thompson, SNJM
Sister Lynda has held positions in leadership and administration with the Sisters of the Holy Names at the congregational level in Montreal, at the local province level in the Northwest and with Catholic Health Care Systems. With her educational background she specializes in organizational transformation, strategic planning, program development and pastoral formation. She earned Master of Arts degrees from St. Mary’s College in Winona, MN and the School of Applied Theology in Berkeley, CA.
Sister Lynda was centrally involved with the initiation, planning and realization of the Mary’s Woods ministry since the 1980s, from pre-development and financing through her present role as board trustee.
During the past twenty years she has served with the Catholic Health Corporation (CHC), Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and currently works with Providence Health and Services as a member of the executive leadership team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland.
