Ed O'Hanlon Board of Directors

Ed O’Hanlon, a native Portlander, was educated at Madeleine School, Jesuit High School, and University of Santa Clara. A licensed CPA, he joined the firm of Bottaini Gallucci and O’Hanlon in 1982 and retired in 2018. He was the sole owner of the company for about ten years. He continues to be an active CPA.

Over the years he was active in the Oregon Society of CPAs and served on the federal and state tax committees.

The son of Jim O’Hanlon, one of the founders of Blanchet House, Ed has dedicated a significant part of his life to community service. He served on the All Saints School board for two terms and chaired it for two years, and served on the parish board as well. He coached CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) basketball for 16 years and served on the All Saints CYO board. For fifteen years he was the treasurer of the Blanchet House Board and still serves as a member of its finance committee. He has been the treasurer of the Serra Club board for 25 years and counting. And in 2021 he joined the board of the Oregon Catholic Press and was recently named treasurer of that organization.

Ed and his wife Grace, a retired Portland Public School special education teacher, have two grown children and live in Northeast Portland.
