A Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC)
Opened in 2001 by the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary (SNJM), Mary’s Woods is a continuing care retirement community that operates as a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) charitable organization. Unlike for-profit communities, Mary’s Woods reinvests profits into the community to further the mission and vision and meet the needs of residents.
Although we are a sponsored ministry, Mary’s Woods welcomes all, regardless of faith or religious beliefs.

The award-winning Village Square at Mary’s Woods is open to residents and the general public to enjoy convenient access to a variety of services and amenities.

We are a proud member of Leading Age Oregon, a statewide association of mission-driven organizations dedicated to quality housing, health, community, and related services to the elderly and disabled.
With over 150 years of history, we pride ourselves on our rich heritage, where a spirit of caring and a warm, welcoming culture create an inclusive and engaging environment.
Nestled on 40 acres in a park-like setting, Mary’s Woods offers a continuum of care in Lake Oswego – near Portland, OR.
