Most recently the Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer for Home and Community Care for Providence St. Joseph Health (PSJH), James Arp comes to Mary’s Woods with three decades of extensive expertise leading complex, multidisciplinary operations within for-profit and non-profit healthcare systems.
For PSJH, his leadership and vision made possible the operational and successful integration of multiple service lines across three states including Home Health, Hospice, Home Medical Equipment, Home Infusion & Pharmacy, Palliative Care, and Assisted Living Facilities.
Beyond operational oversight, James’ successful track record includes responsibility for financial and strategic growth initiatives. While at the helm, PSJH generated $1.1B in net operating revenue. James also has a history of achieving positive board, community, patient, physician, and employee relations.
James attended the University of Missouri-Columbia where he received a Master of Business Administration (1991), and a Master of Healthcare Administration (1990) following his graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Management (1988).
