Bill Warner hails from Iowa, graduated from Iowa State (College) University. Served in the US Army. Spent 10 years with Timber Structures Inc. in sales and management with assignments in Chicago, Seattle, New York City, San Francisco, and Portland. For 50 years, prior to moving to Mary’s Woods, Bill and wife, Barbara, owned Sturdi-Built Greenhouse Mfg Co. Bill has been active in many community organizations, including Rotary, and still serves on the boards of Lakewood Center for the Arts, Oswego Heritage Council, and Oswego Pioneer Cemetery. He is past president of the Mary’s Woods Residents’ Council and a founding member of the Mary’s Woods Man Cave. Bill was a private pilot for 55 years and still rides a motorcycle.
