Music in the Woods Concert Series Announces Northwest Art Song to headline June 11 Show

June 1, 2017

Mary’s Woods is pleased to announce that Northwest Art Song will take to the stage on Sunday, June 11, in the Chapel of the Holy Names, as the final performance of the 2017 Music in the Woods concert Series.

This delightful program is performed by soprano Arwen Myers, mezzo-soprano Laura Beckel Thoreson, and pianist Susan McDaniel. It will take those in attendance back to the tunes from when they first fell in love and will leave them wanting more.

Complimentary refreshments─−including wine and cheese─−will be served in the Provincial House Auditorium following the show. Additionally, concertgoers will have the opportunity to meet the artists during the reception and participate in a Q&A.

Individual concert tickets are available online at www.musicinthewoods.org at a rate of $25 per adult/$10 per child (10 and under), or $30/$10 (respectively) at the door.

Music in the Woods is an annual concert series offered by Mary’s Woods, a nonprofit organization sponsored by the Sisters of the Holy Names and a trusted provider of housing, health, and vital aging services for older adults. Inspired by the values of the Sisters, Mary’s Woods is committed to the full development for every individual at each life stage. The concert series is one of the many ways Mary’s Woods demonstrates its commitment to vital aging, community building and the celebration of life.
